Exercise is an important part of healthy living. Along with a sound nutrition plan it’s truly the best medicine we can get and our most powerful health and weightloss tools! For many of us though, finding the time, the energy, and making it enjoyable is difficult. Fortunately there’s a very effective option that works powerfully and can be accomplished in only 20 minutes a day: High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT).
Are you familiar with HIIT? HIIT can be used for any cardio or strength exercise. It requires cycling short bursts of maximum energy with a rest window: often 30 seconds maximum intensity followed with 90 seconds of rest (example running as fast as you possibly can followed with a jog). It is usually recommended to be done 3x per week and is shown to produce HGH – human growth hormone – natures anti-aging miracle. This type of exercise has been shown to be very effective for increasing strength, stamina and reducing body fat. Along with proper nutrition this type of exercise can offer huge rewards.
